This table is extremely sturdy and strong. All you need to do is add the legs, the lift top is already attached. The round edges are a nice touch, and the SOFT CLOSE is WONDERFUL!.The lift top is heavy to pull up, but that’s because it is Sooo sturdy. I use a hand on each side of the table, front and back and pull it up slowly, as opposed to lifting it from the front.This table is well worth the relatively low price that you pay…, and then some!Pay attention to the measurements, as it is small, and lower to the ground. GREAT TABLE!!!

I bought this to replace a coffee table with a lift top I bought here on Amazon a year ago. It was cheap pressboard but functioned OK. This one sits a few inches lower when not raised and is about 1/3 smaller. We like to eat together in front of the TV sometimes and this is a little tight for two. When raised, it’s at the right height, same as the other actually which is good. The rounded corners are better and assembly was the easiest of anything I’ve bought in the past decade. The soft close is nice, although it takes about a minute to go down on it’s own. Nice product.

I just purchased several furniture and this one is the easiest one to assemble. It takes no more than 10 min. The body is assembled well and the quality is good. it is perfect in my home theater room and the inside space is enough for light storage. In the beginning, I worried the table would drop quickly when closed it. In fact, it will not fall until I push it and it is also not heavy to open. This design makes it quite safe for me and my kids. I am very happy with it.

It’s very easy to assemble, and the overall build quality is good. The lift seems to use some hydraulic mechanism, which is smooth to operate and better than traditional spring ones.
